The whole point of the site is to get 50,000,000 signatures on the petition, which would then more than double the world record. Q: What is the petition for? A: It is simply to try and get the world record for the largest petition in the world. Q: Will this petition end world hunger? A: No, but anything is possible:-) Q: What am I signing? A: Well I can guarantee you that you aren't selling your soul when signing the petition, but beyond that there aren't any promises. Actually, when you sign the petition the only information stored about you is your name, and all you name does is add to the total signatures count. You are not agreeing to anything except that you certify this as your digital signature. Q: When was this petition started? A: The petition was started on September 28, 2005, and when it will end, nobody knows. Q: Why are there ads on this site?
